Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The service is quick, friendly and efficient. I ordered the fried chicken and it took a full 20minutes. The chicken was well seasoned, hot, and crispy. I came on a container full of pork fried rice which was tasty but not exceptional. The place was bustling at 1 pm. There were groups of people, a table full of airmen, and young mothers with kids. It seemed to me those that ordered specials were served quickly. This place is definitely a dive, but for a inexpensive bite in the middle of the day you can't beat it.

The quality of the food from this establishment use to be excellent until recently. I contacted the restaurant about over cooked chicken and they offered no remedy's for their over cooked product. I would not recommend this place to anyone given the level of customer service they are providing.

Another dingy Chi-merican dump in the defense contractors ghetto. The interior is coated in vaporized sesame oil. You order at the counter and sit down. Even the pictures of the food don't look terribly appetizing. Food is served on paper/Styrofoam dishes, and you eat with tiny, flimsy plastic spoons and forks. You might as well have a picnic at the local fat rendering plant. The food is oily, un-inspired, and the table will leave grease stains on your shirt sleeves. The rice was fried, with no vegetables, and tasted like burnt wok scrapings. If an army marches on its belly, General Tso's men would have hung him. The General Tso's Chicken was greasy, over sweet, and tasteless. Mongolian beef - same. A co-worker raved about the 'dumplings', but they were garden variety pot-stickers with plain, nasty pork filling. No chunks of ginger, scallion, or anything that might have salvaged this lousy meal. China Gourmet's food/crap is no better than, say, Panda Express. But, if Panda Express makes you sick, they are likely to have better insurance and deeper pockets to service your lawsuit. Stay away.

Most places have off days and deserve another shot. This one doesn't... After coming in with 3 people in front of me, I figured I would be out in about 15 minutes... No such luck! Not only was I the last out, but the two people who came in after me made it out before me with even more food than I ordered. Halfway through my wait, the older man (I assume the dad) stopped everything and left to make a delivery while the kid (doesn't look older than 16) was left to cook everything else. The food was horrible. The orange chicken tasted more like ginger chicken, the "pan-fried" dumplings were boiled, then placed in a deep fryer, and I can't even begin to describe what the contents of the dumplings consisted of... It had the consistency of cream cheese and the color of the inside of a taco bell burrito... I highly recommend staying away from this place.

This place has the worst customer service ever I ordered my food at 1 130 am for a 1 PM pick up since I only have a 30 min lunch at work well when I arrived my food was not ready and when I expressed that I had ordered a head of time due to the short period of time I was given on my lunch break the cashier started to yell at me and threw my money back in my face I was appalled by these actions they were out of line I will never again give them my business Cashier was rude and nasty.

This is the best New York style Chinese takeout in town. I've tried a lot of them and none are better. Even friends I've met from California agree this is the best. Their fried egg rolls are fantastic, their fried rice isn't the best I've had but it's far from the worst. their food is always cooked to order (fresh), their portion sizes are generous (usually feeds us two/three meals each), and their service is quick (orders ready within 10-15 minutes, basically by the time I can drive there). The employees and place are always busy but the service remains friendly and fast. Anyone who thinks they're lazy is crazy or biased. It's not in the best part of town and it's definitely a hole in the wall but I drive from the east side (newer) because they're so good. Seriously, no one else compares in the Springs.

As far as delivery it's Really quick & actually taste good better than a lot places in the springs. I don't understand all the bad reviews its not half as bad as the reviews say. For carry out it's amazing taste so good! Try the sesame chicken! Egg rolls are the best in town!

This is basic, but good Chinese (if not a bit Americanized) food. I enjoy it every time and is my goto for takeout. I have tried many different dishes and never disappointed. I keep saying I am going to try the fried chicken, looks good but have not tried it yet. The prices are very good for what you get and everything is made fresh to order, but severed on Styrofoam plates and containers. They also offer delivery for the local area.

Fast food type of Chinese food. They serve a lot and it's inexpensive but nothing to brag about. If you low on cash and don't care about quality then its a decent spot.

I feel like Ron Burgundy, "Ugh China Gourmet was a bad choice." $3.85 for the lunch special was too tempting to pass up, and from the very first bite of the wonton soup I knew eating here was a mistake. China Gourmet is anything BUT gourmet. China Gourmet is the greasy spoon diner of Chinese food.
